「志野」はもぐさ土と呼ばれる鉄分の少ない地元の白土に、鉄絵による下絵付を施して、白い長石の釉薬を単味で掛けるやきものです。土に含まれた鉄分がほんのりと緋色に発色します。この作品は、表麺に都鳥が、背面に亀甲文が描かれています。
