Edward J. Russell, artist. Watercolor. Ship BOMBAY off Partridge Island, leaving St. John, NB, Capt. L. P. Petersen. Port-side view of vessel; stained; Vessel built 1867 by William Rogers. Frame 33 x 45". From the name of this vessel, it would seem that the owners had her in mind as an East Indies trader. However, research to date has only revealed European voyages (cotton trade) and South American voyages (guano trade). Bombay was built at Bath in 1867 for local owners.
