Minott for his own fleet. She is shown here passing up the Mersey River to Liverpool. Under her jibboom you can see Liverpool landmarks Perch Rock Lighthouse and Perch Rock Fort. Liverpool was a common destination for cotton cargoes, and point of origin for immigrant voyages. This painting is from the family of her commander in 1865, Captain John S.
