This print 'Lord Vishnu Narayana on his Snake Couch' depicts the moment of creation, according to the long-standing Vaishnava tradition. Vishnu, also known as Narayana, is seated on the snake Shesha, floating in the cosmic ocean. Goddess Lakshmi caresses his leg, Vishnu awakens, and a lotus bearing the four-headed Bramhan emerges from his navel.
