A pichwai depicting the form of Shrinathji Swaroop, with the central image of Krishna as Shrinathji dressed in yellow pagha and chakdar vagha, bedecked in jewels and flower garlands, with his left arm raised while his right arm supports stalks of lotus blossoms. His head is surmounted with elaborate head gear supporting a peacock plumed khullah (turban ornament) and at his feet are two jewelled offering containers. Placed in front of the deity are a banta (snack box) and jhari (water jug), filled with water from the Yamuna. The entire image is set within a thin floral design border, and backed on printed red floral fabric (later addition).
Shrinathji is the tutelary deity of the Vallabhacharya sect. The image replicates the stone statue of Shrinathji at the central sanctorum of the Nathdwara temple.
