Shōzō Shimamoto, Vento d'oriente. Bottle crash, Certosa di San Giacomo, Capri, 2008

In 2008 Shōzō Shimamoto made a performance in the Great Cloister of Certosa di San Giacomo, in Capri, accompanied by sound installations and musical happenings by Claudio Lugo and Francesco D'Errico. Then Yasuo Sumi, who considers himself the first disciple of Shimamoto, performs. Both performances bring to life the link between Gutai and Action Painting.
