Exterior: on both sides, a fight, flanked by youths. On the left, the warrior rushes to right wearing a Corinthian helmet, cuirass and short chiton. He wields a spear in his raised right hand, and carries a shield (protome: projecting snake). A scabbard hanging from two baldrics is visible. His opponent moves to the right, collapsing on one knee, looking back at his attacker. He has a Corinthian helmet, shield and spear. On A, he is otherwise nude; on B, he wears greaves, a cuirass, and a short garment. On both sides, the warriors are flanked by youths clad in himatia.
The interior of the deep bowl is black, with a slightly convex mouth that is tooled on the exterior. Below this groove, the upper border of the figured zone is marked by a single line. The two horizontal handles are black on the exterior only. Below the handle roots, a flower in silhouette surmounts a large lotus bud with separate sepals hanging under each handle. The small torus foot is black, with the underside also black, except for the resting surface.
