Double Head Oinochoe (Side B, handle left)

This mold-blown double head oinochoe is made of dark purple glass. The seam mark indicates that this oinochoe was blown in a two-part mold. Its janiform body rests on a flat base. The cylindrical neck ends with an outsplayed mouth. One handle with an elbow has been applied on the shoulder and drawn up to the lip. This oinochoe is severely weathered. The surface presents some iridescence, sable accretions, and pitting on the neck. The handle and a chip from the rim were reattached.
