Symmetrical design composed of foliage, drawn on a larger scale. Center motif subjects: an artichoke with branching acanthus leaves on either side. From the top is growing a spray of three small flowers from which spring forth three buds. The design is that of a Queen Anne or early Chippendale damask which this flock paper simulates. Embossed fine horizontal lines on background.
