“My new programme, with the name ‘Sight’, is special for me because it is the first time that I am working with only older, experienced dancers. It is very special because these dancers have always been professional top dancers.

It is natural that when dancers are getting older, their physical strength decreases, and they develop a more spiritual way of dancing.
Anybody who has achieved so much in his or her professional career as these dancers, becomes in a certain way a philosopher of life. […]

I want to create this programme not for them, but with them. My experience with a different approach to making performances, and their experiences as dancers, combine in a special way.”
