Cecília de Sousa has been a ceramist since the mid-1950s, and has in-depth knowledge of the process of ceramics technology. She participates regularly in national and international exhibitions and biennials which has given her the opportunity to come into contact with other experiences and ways of working with ceramics. In this piece is evident the artist's fascination with the representation of memories of places, in this case by Lisbon, evoked in a subtle way and through signs related to urban the city's urban space.
