Plaster cast of a marble copy of the Roman imperial age probably from a bronze original of the school of Lysippus of the late 4th century - early 3rd century BC, preserved in the Louvre Museum. The cast, of excellent workmanship and with the support more ornate than the original, is ascribable at the beginning of the 18th century and mentioned among those sent to Bologna by General Marsili as a gift from his brother Monsignor Antonio.
