The rim of the plate has a ruffled edge, and bears a scroll with flowers, leaves and shells on a pounced ground. In the hollow of the plate, which is surrounded by a fluted band, there is a perspective view of a symmetrical ornamental garden, with strips of lawn and balustrades. In the centre, there is a fountain with a statue of a standing male figure, resting on two dolphins. A decorative vase on a pedestal stands on each side, behind which is a small fountain with a tall water jet. In the background, a long walkway with a gloriette can be seen. The plate is stamped at the top of the rim with a city mark and a maker’s mark (initials) from different periods, and on the left, with a re-mark (Repunzierung) used in Austria (D for Lemberg) in 1806–1807.
