By boat and waterway, you can directly reach the first beacon tower of the Great Wall in the east section of Simatai, also known as enemy platform or pier platform. Local people are used to naming the beacon tower with the number or location of arrow windows facing south, so this is also called "Three-Eyed Tower". This tower is a brick arch structure, and visitors can climb to the top of the tower from the wooden trestle erected later on the east side of the beacon tower. In summer, the cool breeze blows gently, making it a good place to take a nap. The barrier wall, which extends more than 20 meters to the west, falls slowly and goes deep into the water, like a dragon drinking water. This tower echoes with the first floor in the west to form a pinch attack, which reminds people of the war scene of "if one man guards the pass, ten thousand are unable to get through".
