In the foreground, on the right, Jesus walking 3/4 facing right, face turned forward, carrying the cross over his left shoulder, he wears a long tunic in gray tones. Huge cross represented by slight geometrization in rose light and blue tones whose vertical crossbeam traverses the composition diagonally to the lower left corner. In the center, behind the cross, Simon of Cyrene standing facing forward, with his face to the right, looking at Jesus and his right arm holding the vertical crossbeam. Further back, to the left, a woman facing forward, carrying a child on her lap. In the background, in the center, a partial figure a of soldier holding a spear on the right. Ground with earthy tone areas to the right and light background with shaded areas next to the figures, strong contrast of light and dark tones can be noticed, which accentuates the drama of the scene. .
