Single Crane Insignia

The single crane insignia in colored threads was designated for officials of the junior third rank and below. On dark blue fabric with cloud-treasure pattern, a crane is embroidered with satin stitch and the mountain with three peaks with long and short stitch. Couching stitch in gold thread decorates the insignia around the herb of eternal youth that the crane holds in the mouth.by the early twentieth century.
