This pot is most likely found from the Peinan site. Archaeologists of National Taiwan University have discovered one or two similar containers in some slate coffins at the site. It is made by red mud and its shape resembles a teapot with a flat bottom. The spout and the single lug are angled 90°. When holding the lug with the right hand, it can only be poured outward, which may imply that this container was used to serve others.
