Sir Vivian Richards

Framed oil on canvas artwork by famed Australian portrait artist Dave Thomas. By depicting Richards at the time of painting with an image of him during his playing career taped to the background the wall, the portrait utilises the same compositional structure that Bill Leak used for the 1989 portrait of Don Bradman. Commissioned by Bradman Museum, as part of a series of Greats of the Game, housed at Bradman Museum.
