Sissy

Henri began visiting County Mayo, Ireland, in 1913, and he painted this portrait of a local there, as well as many others. The sitter for this portrait was Annie McNamara, whom he painted at Keel, Achill Island, using the color theory of Hardesty Maratta and his own interest in the Old Masters.
