Among the six works that we know modeled by Gargallo in negative, this is probably the one that presents a greater degree of formal perfection and a more pronounced power of suggestion.

From the compositional point of view, it presents notable similarities with Mujer en su toilette (or La toilette), 1921, also modeled in recess and currently unlocated, of which it could even be a perfected variant, while its structural conception is maintained, refined and essentializes over the years in Gargallo's work, following a perfectly identifiable line that goes through the different versions of Little Bacchante Reclining, 1926 and 1929-30, reaching Great Bacchante, 1931, and naturally Little Bacchante (with and without leaf, also adding another unfinished version in copper sheet), 1932, and even, to a certain extent and in an unexpected turn, tangentially reaches the classicist Andromeda, 1934
