Numerous human remains discovered at Lepenski Vir have helped the scientists to discover the lifestyle, diet and habits of people in prehistory. Among the numerous skeletons, only one is buried in a sitting position with bent and crossed lower limbs and an upright head. This skeleton belongs to the early Mesolithic and it is estimated that the person was about 60 years old at the time of death.
