The basis for the creation of a dramatic poem by Lesya Ukrainka was the story of the heroine of ancient mythology Cassandra. The role of Cassandra was played by actress Yulia Tkachenko. She perfectly embodied the intellectual poetic text of the dramatic poem. According to the plot, the war lasted almost 10 years, Troy was under siege. Only Princess Cassandra, thanks to her gift of providence, received from the god Apollo, would be able to stop the bloodshed. However, she despised his affection. And Apollo took vengeance fiercely: he did so that no one believed her prophecies, and that she was considered guilty of all troubles.
