The curtain was created by a famous Georgian national artist, painter, graphics maker Sergo Kobuladze. Painter's style of illustrations was unique and influenced many artists afterwards.Kobuladze decorated performances in Marjanishvili and Rustaveli theatres, the Zakaria Paliashvili State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre.The artist took active part in exhibitions in Moscow and other cities from 1930 onwards. In the 1950s his works were sent to Venice and London. He was a rector of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (1952-1959)
