From the moment we open our eyes, it fuels our existence. With each new answer we find, our world expands and our passions grow. We can’t wait to share what we’ve learned and teach others how to do it themselves. But for many of us, this excitement and spark to passion settles as the years go by. Instead of learning because we want to, we begin learning because we have to.

For this reason, Skillshare is on a mission to re-awaken the slumbering curiosity and that rampant drive in everyone. To act as an enticing reminder that we are all natural-born learners and teachers – from day one to twenty thousand and one, by pushing everyone to discover their passions and be brave enough to chase them. Skillshare exists to make everyone the greatest possible version of themselves.

Students can enroll in two types of classes on Skillshare: Local Classes where you meet in person and where students in the same community come together to learn skills in a single or multi-session class ranging from entrepreneurship to cooking. And Hybrid Classes combining project-based, online learning with in-person workshops, allowing students to collaborate and learn with others around the globe. Anyone with experience and knowledge to share can teach a class, and any place can be a classroom – a co-working space, coffee shop, garage or conference room.
