At the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, Expedition 41/42 Flight Engineer Barry Wilmore of NASA (left) greets Expedition 40 Soyuz Commander Alexander Skvortsov of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos, right) Sept. 12, just one day after Skvortsov returned home from the International Space Station to complete 169 days in space. Looking on is Expedition 41/42 backup crewmember Mikhail Kornienko of Roscosmos (center), who will launch to the station in March 2015 to spend a full year in space with NASA’s Scott Kelly. Wilmore, Alexander Samokutyaev of Roscosmos and Elena Serova of Roscosmos will launch from Baikonur on Sept. 26, Kazakh time, in their Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft for a 5 ½ month mission on the International Space Station. Serova will become the fourth Russian woman to fly in space.
