Everted rim; deep body with heavy wall; thick, almost triangular handles below rim; groove at junction between body and base; wide ring base. Yellowish brown clay; black glaze with metallic sheen; red wash. Dotted egg-pattern on rim; on one side of body a youth seated on a rock, holding a spear in his left hand and wreath in his right; on the opposite side a youth wearing a himation, holding a spear; on both sides the figures are flanked by large flowers and tendrils; palmettes beneath handles; two reserved bands encircling lower body; reserved underside.
