Slate:Peanuts and Snoopy Super Slate

Most current historians believe that the magic slate toy, a drawing toy with renewable drawing surface, first appeared in the 1950s. The toy endured, often featuring favorite children's characters or an educational theme. Early design examples of characters from the "Peanuts" comic strip appeared on a magic slate toy made by Saalfield and copyrighted in 1968. The toy features more pencil drawing games printed on the back.
