Wooden tennis racquet with leather grip. Racquet head enclosed in protective rectangular wood and metal frame. Top and bottom sides of handle printed with the words, "CHALLENGE No.1." in gold print. Left side of handle printed with the words, "MADE IN ENGLAND" in black print. Right side of handle printed with the initials 'J.T.' in green text with black outline. The word 'Slazenger' is printed in gold text with black outline at the base of the racquet head on both sides. Slazenger logo printed on strings of racquet. Protective wooden frame is fastened by a metal screw in each corner. Top of protective frame printed with a black stamp reading 'The Elite'. Handwritten in pencil on the right hand side of protective frame are the letters 'y/r' and the numbers '3/9'.
