Sleeping Nymph

The Nymphs were secondary divinities of Nature and the daughters of Zeus. They animated Nature in all its forms. Every spring, meadow, stream and tree had its own nymph. They were venerated in the forests or in the caves and would meet together and spend their time serenely and light-heartedly.
