Small Church of Saint Anthony from Padua

The complex where the Church stands belonged to the Noble Family Bion from Padua, who bought it at the end of the eighteenth century from the Abbey of Santa Maria in Sylvis. According to the military cartography of Anton von Zach during 1850 it can be seen in this area the presence of an isolated building, without annexes. From the mid-nineteenth century the property belonged to the Morassutti family, which used it as an agricultural business center.
The current configuration of the garden around the small Church was created in the mid-twentieth century by the architect Bruno Morassutti (1920-2008), who spent long periods in that house.The small Church of St. Anthony of Padua is also an art space of Art Aia - Creatives / In / Residence having hosted several art events like a solo concert by Japanese composer Yukio Tsuji and it has also been a movie set for the documentary film Personal Dream Space directed by Giovanni Morassutti, starring american drama teacher John Strasberg.
