The sculpture Small Torso by Olga Jančić (1929-2012) was made of marble, in the form of round, smooth masses, simplified forms of accentuated sensuality, reduced to the most important elements of the human torso. The most common themes of Olga Jančić's sculptural poetics, as the artist herself pointed out, were related to "human life, nature, some manifestations of life in nature ..." Together with Jovan Soldatović, Sava Sandić, Ana Bešlić, Ante Gržetić and Ratimir Stojadinović, Olga Jančić was one of the participants in the master workshop of Toma Rosandić, who created in Belgrade from 1950-1954. She was one of the bearers of avant-garde who contributed to the modern trends of the art scene with her ideas.
