Khaleel Al-Ward has five works composed of tripartite sculptures over his artistic career. The second work was entitled “Three Women” or “A Woman’s Gathering”. It is of wood sculpted by the artist at the beginning of the seventies and was shown in 1972 at the thirteenth annual exhibition of the Baghdad Group of Modern Art. What the artist's eldest daughter, Nama Al-Ward, remembers is the peculiar thing in this sculpture, which is that the artist carved this sculpture from three legs of an old table.
