Artist Alexandra Pirici performed the project "Soft Power" with sculptural additions to St. Petersburg monuments In her performances Pirici seeks to challenge the politics of remembrance and the ontology of city monuments. The sculptural performances aim to recontextualise and disarm the silent and stark monumentality of the places and their embedded historical readings.
