Sojourn

Saar is artistically inspired by investigations of the metaphysical world, and other intangible areas of knowledge. This piece has a soft upholstery fabric as the background. At the top of the piece is a messenger dove carrying an envelope. The charm is affixed to it's leg, prohibiting it from flying. This piece comments on love and peace and how difficult it is to attain either. This is a departure from tantric aesthetics, with more intentional shapes and objects, with layering used throughout.
