The first painting of the sonata presents the theme of the music - the sea. The painting Allegro presents the playfullness of the sea as we see the vawes being repeated not only in the sea but also in the dunes. This wave theme is explored through all of the painting. The playfullness is enforced by bubbles and ambers that shimmer in the waves and create intricate patterns.
