Songbook of the age of Isabella d'Este

Literary collection of musical rhymes played at the Gonzaga court between the XV and the XVI century. The connection of this manuscript with the music is demonstrated by the high number of works that can be read in other songbooks. In this manuscript we find the work of the main poets of the period, who would send to Mantua a lot of poems destined for music.
