Sound II sculpture, Winchester Cathedral Crypt, Winchester, Hampshire

Sound II is a life-size lead figure depicted contemplating water held in his cupped hands. Created by sculptor Antony Gormley, it was completed in 1986. Sited in the Crypt of Winchester Cathedral, it is often found standing in flood water.
