Overhead view of Sable Island looking west over the South Beach. The thin island curves to the right at the tip.
The island is mostly light brown sand. There are several ponds next to each other along the length of the island.
The ocean waves shape the shoreline. The waves erode the sand and deposit seawood and debris on the beach.
Main Station is visible in the distance as a small group of white buildings with black roofs.
