Space shuttle Endeavour's STS-123 crew eagerly exits the Operations and Checkout Building on its way to the waiting Astrovan. On the right, front to back, are Commander Dominic Gorie and Mission Specialists Mike Foreman and Rick Linnehan. On the left, front to back, are Mission Specialists Garrett Reisman, Pilot Gregory H. Johnson and Mission Specialists Robert L. Behnken and Takao Doi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. Reisman will remain on the International Space Station as a flight engineer. The Astrovan will take the crew to Launch Pad 39A for liftoff. The crew will make a record-breaking 16-day mission to the International Space Station. On STS-123, Endeavour and its crew will deliver the first section of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo laboratory and the Canadian Space Agency's two-armed robotic system, Dextre.
