A long handmade spatula with a rounded dark end and lighter flat and wide tip, and used in traditional cooking. Made localy ,usually of oak wood to withstand high temperatures, it was used to stir and mix figs, tomatoes, wheat... cooked in big pots. This particular spatula was used to prepare fig jam.
