In the top corner of this selection, there are three large, streamlined spearheads. The style of these spearheads is called Clovis, and it is the oldest style of stone tools found in the Americas. Made as far back as fifteen-thousand years ago, this style of spear point was use to hunt large game like mammoths and mastodons. It would probably have been attached to a ten foot long pole, and it would have been thrust into the animal at close range by a hunter.
