In December 1841, the King-Grand Duke establishes an order for special merits in Luxembourg, with the motto of the Oranges, "Je maintiendrai": the royal-grand ducal Order of the Oak Crown. The first recipients of this order in 1842 include Chancellor de Blochausen and Governor de la Fontaine.
