In the Orbiter Processing Facility, STS-117 Mission Specialist John (Danny) Olivas practices photographing the orbiter Atlantis with a camera to be used on the mission. He and other crew members are at KSC to take part in a Crew Equipment Interface Test that allows them opportunities to become familiar with equipment and hardware for their mission. STS-117 will deliver the S3/S4 and another pair of solar arrays to the space station.
