Atomic absorption spectrophotometer, model AA100, metal/glass/plastic/paper/paint, Techtron Pty Ltd, Melbourne, 1965-1970. Atomic absorption specrophotometer, housed in a grey painted sheet metal box, with aspiration port, dials, gauges and absorbance readout at front; used for chemical analysis by means of atomic spectra. Flap in centre opens to expose burner. Two hollow cathode lamps for providing specific wavelengths for determination of content of calcium/magnesium and sodium/potassium in aspirated samples. Instruction manual in blue plastic cover. Includes electric lead, glove and plastic guard.
