Spiaggia corallina (Coral beach)

This selection of Tappeti-Natura represents the desire of the artist to deliver a dreamed-of nature to our gaze. It is the world Gilardi would see during his Sunday strolls—the environment in which he lives—but there also exists the world Gilardi took in on his numerous travels. Here, we can note a coralline beach, a glimpse of a tropical paradise detached from his upbringing in Turin, rich with its flora and fauna.
