This bracelet is one of a pair composed of a set. It was found in a tomb with the burial of two rich women and belonged to an older one. She presumably wore this set with a fine headdress, earrings and appliques that decorated her clothes. The bracelet was made of a bronze stripe covered with gold. The bracelet finials are completed with specially prepared gold tips embellished with enamel and with lion heads.
This fine piece's form and artistic manner connect it to examples of Greek jewellery art.
