Sports Hall

The painting adorning the Sports Hall was co-designed by Tim A Shaw and the young people at Bluebird House. Shaw led two trainer painting workshops where white canvas trainers became the surface for wearable artworks. These designs then informed the artwork that he could upscale onto the walls. On the last day of painting, there was a riotous football match with every young person and staff from the unit for an energetic and intense hour, many of them wearing their trainer artworks.
