A terracotta stirrup vessel in the form of water fowl looking upwards. Body is in cream coloured slip and wings, beak and spout painted in reddish brown hues. The stripes on wings painted in cream, feet dark brown. The figure has details incised. The birds and animals were observed closed by the Mochica people and they drew their inspiration from nature around them. This particular vessel has potrayed the bird in a very naturalistic pose.
