Housed in Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, this item reproduces the scene of pig-slaughtering in the countryside during the Chinese lunar new year, the Spring Festival. Two strong men are trying in concerted efforts to press a fat pig onto the bench under an old plum blossom tree with curled branches, on which sit two children, looking downwards curiously. Beside the bench there are a wood bucket and a flock of chicken. Thanks to the ingenious design of the creator, a delighted image was realized based on a scene that is supposed to be bloody.
