Robert Dash (1931-2013) was a brilliant writer, painter, and gardener, and those three passions often overlapped, infusing and informing one another. Dash completed this exceptionally colorful floral scene several years prior to his establishment of Madoo, his unique garden property in Sagaponack. Landscape, botanical and floral themes were a predominant source of inspiration for him.
